I don’t think you realize how much I’ve been missing you.

I can’t sleep cause I know that it will happen. You’ll do all these things and tell me after. Pretty much how I find out; after the damage has already been done. And then we pretend on like everything is peachy. And I go along with it so we can happy when we talk, when deep down I’m honestly not.

Every couple knows this hand hold too well. Right after an argument or a fight, the girl is still upset, and the guy knows he messed up, but he loves her, so he reaches down and forcefully takes her hand and locks his fingers with hers, and she loves him, so she grips down around his hand and holds it back, and at that point in-time, everything is better and back to the way it should be. Maybe not forever, but at least for a brief moment.
